WinQuake is a Windows version of Quake that is not 3d accelerated like GLQuake (it is still Software like DOS Quake and therefore doesn't require a 3D video card). WinQuake supports both Quake mission packs (-hipnotic and -rogue).

If you are unable to run Quake.exe anymore, if for example you upgraded to Windows 2000 or Windows XP, it is recommended you get WinQuake.
