Standard 3D

From Quake Wiki

Standard 3D is an open-source 3D editor and game engine, for Linux. It allows the user to view, edit and play 3D game maps, and view 3D model files. It aims to eventually replace the functionality of every 3D game engine that has ever existed. It currently supports editing of Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 3 maps, viewing of maps from various other games, and limited gameplay (basically, for testing).

For more information see the README file, and the window captures.

To install: download and compile the source code from the main page of the website.
