The testplayerstart entity defines a start location for the mapper meant as a temporary player start for testing the part of your map you placed it in. This allows the mapper to leave your existing info_player_* entities where they are without needing to move those for testing during the mapping process if you wish to compile and test your maps.

Attributes[edit]

testplayerstart has the following attributes in the map editor:

  • Angle : The direction the entity faces when spawned
